Your Period Map
Period cycle: Start counting from the first day of your last period & stop on the first day of your next – that is your Period Cycle.
Pre-period: The days leading upto the first day of your period. This often includes symptoms of PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome) – like mood swings, acne, abdominal bloating, cramps, breast soreness, diarrhoea, constipation etc.
Post-period: The days immediately following the last day of your period carry a feeling of having finished something significant while simultaneously preparing for something equally so – ovulation. During these days, some women experience the lesser known of the two pain sister, Post Menstrual syndrome. Its symptoms include anxiety, often severe moodiness and mood swings — snappy, sometimes depressed, irritable or impatient, angry or enraged, teary and close to meltdowns.
Peak Ovulation: Ovulation days are the high fertility days of your every month/period cycle. Ovulation takes place 12 to 14 days after the first day of your period cycle – which is also the first day of your period. Peak ovulation refers to the period of 5 days before your ovulation day and the day itself.
